The weather has been strange this fall. We've consistently enjoyed warmer temperatures than many cities in the Lower 48, and the snowmachiners and skiers have been lamenting the abysmal snowfall. No doubt about it, the winter had been EASY. And then last week it started snowing... and didn't stop for two days.
Needless to say, we spent the weekend shoveling. Shoveling might be my favorite chore: it is easy to see what you've accomplished and the feeling of sweating outside while doing something productive is quite satisfying.
Tom's sweet little man cave (doesn't it look cozy?):
Perhaps the best part of the snow dump was having a cold beer in front of the fire after the shoveling was done.
